ATLAS Service Center
The Atlas Service Center (located on the first floor of E17, 40 Ames Street entrance) complements many of the resources available through Atlas online. MIT faculty, staff, students, and affiliates can receive guidance and complete activities by phone, via email, and in person at the Center. Please see below for details on specific services.
Grad Support
Staff in the Office of Graduate Education provide advice and counsel on a variety of issues including faculty/student relationships, changing your advisor, conflict negotiation, funding, academic progress, interpersonal concerns, and a student’s rights and responsibilities.
Student Financial Services
Provides financial aid and customer service to all MIT students.
Registrar’s Office
The Registrar’s Office is located at Building 5 in suites 5-115 and 5-117.
Walker Memorial
Serves the MIT Community. It is home to many student group offices, the Graduate Student Council, the Black Students Union Lounge, the WMBR radio station, the Rainbow Lounge, the Climbing Wall, the Muddy Charles Pub, and a dance rehearsal room. Walker has Morss Hall, a large banquet facility with patios available to MIT groups for events. Walker Gym serves as an exam facility.

MIT Commuter Information
SHUTTLES
MIT has daily local shuttles as well as the SafeRide Shuttle, for after hours transport. There are also airport shuttles around major holidays and the end of the semester.

PARKING
Graduate students may apply for on-campus parking and only pay for the days that they use the MIT lots.

Students are eligible for subsidized T passes for the local subway/bus lines.
